Ramu745, Your question points that you want to know about the 'equipment' used for FM Radio 'BROADCASTING'. However, I understand you're only interested in knowing about consoles, speakers and microphones that RJ's use. Please show some clarity here.

Let us know if you want to know about FM BROADCAST equipment or equipments that RJ's use (leaving aside the ones used for broadcast by the technical team)...

On hearing from you, I will post a relevant reply... Very Happy

Hi

There are two areas of Broadcasting, One we do from Studio Site and One from the Transmission Site..
The final Audio Output is Send from Studio Site to Trasmissiom Site thorugh dedicated ISDN Lines,Microwave or VSAT (Satellite)

Basic Studio Site Equipments are :-
Mixer :- Can be any Broadcasting Mixer but basic Once can be Audio Arts D75 (http://www.7bd.com/ProductList.aspx?IDCat=260)

RJ Mics : - AKG (Condenser)the best once i recommend

Speakers:- Genelec or KRK or now a days Tenoy is also widely used

Cd Players : - Denon or Sony

Radio Software :- DAD Enco,Dalet or RCS

Telophone :- Telos Hybrid 12x12

ISDN BRN lines and the Codec can be Telos , Comrex etc ..
Microwave - Motorola the ever best for Antennas and
VSAT depends upon the Local provider who supports the Radio Station giving bandwidth

Standard Trasmission Site Equipments : -

Broadcast Transmitters : - Harris , Rohde&Schwarz

FM Modulation Monitors :- Belar , Bird Meter

RF Monitors : - Bird Meter the best once

I hope these information are enough .. reply back more more clarification ...

Cheers ...
