Digidesign has announced a FREE sample player for ProTools and they call it 'Structure'. It comes in two variants, Structure Free and Structure LE.. The free version can be downloaded from Digidesign's website at http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?langid=61&navid=175&itemid=5223

This makes me think that Digidesign is taking a huge leap in making it more commercial... Sure does make me feel that in the not so distant future, users of ProTools will have to buy Digidesign plug-ins and won't be able to incorporate any 3rd party plug-ins...

i think ... it is true ... coz they came out with reference monitor and now sampler and stuffs like this ... then they wanna to be the only One ....

If they try to make their bundle cheaper, It surely would be a hit in the industry....

even if such situation comes, we never need to worry about that much provided they do update their products and also they make them affordable by a lot more people.....

I actually welcome it, if they have any idea of releasing a new bundle with an Interface, monitors and Plug-ins.....
